Jake Kampf
Founder & Head Coach
Before starting Arch City Select, Coach Kampf was an Assistant Coach at Division II Colorado Christian University where he coached multiple All-Conference players. Coach Kampf played his collegiate ball at Principia College. While at Principia, Kampf was voted team MVP and served as team captain. During his senior year, he led the Panthers to a school record 18 wins. On top of that, he ranked top ten in the Nation in both 3-pointers made (84) and 3-point percentage (44.7%). Kampf holds school career records in free throw and 3PT percentage. Kampf also has a record for most consecutive free throws made (549). Additionally, Coach Kampf has trained many successful college and high school athletes across all levels.
Matt Winter
Director & Head Coach
Coach Matt Winter serves as a Director and Head Coach for Arch City Select. A graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School, Coach Winter was a varsity athlete in both basketball and football before continuing his athletic career as a collegiate football player at DePauw University.
Prior to joining Arch City, Coach Winter coached in the Clayton Greyhounds Feeder Program, where he developed a reputation for building disciplined, competitive teams and helping players grow both on and off the court.
Coach Winter brings infectious energy to every practice and game, creating an environment where players are challenged to compete at a high level while enjoying the process. He emphasizes team defense, communication, toughness, and selfless play, believing that great defensive habits and a team-first mindset are the foundation for long-term success. His passion for developing young athletes and fostering a positive culture makes him an outstanding leader within the Arch City family.
